Who is this for?

This course is for adults experiencing tinnitus who would like to:

  • Learn new ways to relax
  • Reduce the stress and anxiety caused by tinnitus
  • Improve sleep and concentration
  • Feel calmer and more in control

(This course is not a medical treatment, but a supportive wellbeing approach. Always check with your GP if you have any concerns.)

About Your Facilitator

I’m Valerie Lewis, a Certified Sophrologist since 2016 and a Master in Sophrology. I’ve supported many people through stress, sleep issues, confidence challenges, and life transitions — and more recently, I’ve trained specifically in supporting people living with tinnitus.

In one of my group sessions, a participant with severe tinnitus found noticeable relief after a tailored practice — an experience that reinforced how powerful these gentle techniques can be.

Sophrology is also backed by scientific research. A 2020 study of 140 patients found that 6–8 sessions over 2–4 months led to a clinically significant reduction in tinnitus distress (see study here).

Will this cure my tinnitus?

No. This course doesn’t claim to cure tinnitus — but it can help you feel calmer, sleep better, and manage the impact tinnitus has on your daily life.

Do I need to know what Sophrology is?

No, I’ll guide you step by step. You’ll only need to follow along with simple breathing, relaxation, and visualisation exercises.

Is this a group or one-to-one?

This is a small friendly group (spaces are limited to ensure individual support).
