Jubilee Park, Tiny Forest Discovery Day!
This is free to attend and open to all ages
Charnwood Council worked with Earthwatch Europe to establish a Tiny Forest at Jubilee Park.
Join us on Thursday, 25 September where we can explore your local Tiny Forest here in Jubilee Park! Enjoy our fun family-friendly activities, connect with nature, and meet other members of the community. You may even want to try out one of our fun science experiments!
What the event will include:
- Explore local wildlife like butterflies, bees and bugs.
- Meet like-minded people in your local community.
- Light refreshments
- Feel free to bring along a picnic and water.

Date and Time: Thursday 25 September; 2:00pm-6:00pm. You are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you like.
Getting there: We recommend using public transport, walking or car sharing wherever possible.

Parking
- There are no paid parking nearby, but there is street parking on Conway close, Buckingham Dr, Cothelstone Avenue and other roads leading upto Jubilee Park.
Outdoor clothing is advised and if you can bring gardening gloves, that would be great too!
Please also bring a phone or tablet along with you in order to use our online science surveys. We will have printed copies on the day too if that’s not possible.
