Come and join us so we can explore your local Tiny Forest here in West Meadows, Staines! Enjoy our fun family-friendly activities, connect with nature, and meet other members of the community. You may even want to try out one of our fun science experiments!
Earthwatch Europe's Tiny Forests are planted in urban locations, where nature is most needed. Across the UK, Tiny Forests are reconnecting people with nature, enhancing wellbeing, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change and providing nature-rich habitat patches to support urban wildlife.
What the event will include:
- Explore local wildlife like butterflies, bees and bugs.
- Meet like-minded people in your local community.
- Light refreshments
- Weeding and Mulching.

Date and Time: Friday 29 August; 10:00am-1:00pm
This is currently a private site - due to this please be aware you must arrive at the start of the session in order to be escorted by site staff to the planting area.
What to wear: Sturdy boots and gloves are a must (we will have some spare gloves on the day if you don't have any).
Getting there: We encourage using public transport, walking or car sharing wherever possible. Please note the site a short walk from the meet point.
The meeting point is a 12 minute walk from Staines station should wish to travel by train.

Please also bring a phone or tablet along with you in order to use our online science surveys. We will have printed copies on the day too if that’s not possible.
