Tissue Viability Matters: One Day Skin Care Conference

Increase your knowledge and enhance your skills by attending seminars and workshops run by internationally known and local clinical/research experts.

Seminar and workshop topics include:

· Why and how skin breaks down.

· How to assess and dress wounds

· Risk factors and prevention strategies for pressure ulcers

· How to grade pressure ulcers

· The need to reduce loading on the skin and the role of equipment

· The effective use of seating to relieve pressure

This Conference is for all 2nd year Faculty of Health Sciences students.
