A titre test measures the level of antibodies in your dog’s blood to assess whether they’re still protected against key diseases such as parvovirus, distemper, and hepatitis. It’s a helpful tool for pet caregivers who want to avoid unnecessary revaccinations while ensuring their dog remains fully protected.
During your appointment, a small blood sample will be taken from your dog. Shelley will send the sample for analysis, and you’ll receive the results via email within 7–10 working days.

About your speaker
Shelley Doxey BVetMed (Hons), BSc, MSc, MRCVS, has been practising conventional veterinary medicine since graduating from The Royal Veterinary College in 2002. Her job often involves seeing animals in pain and discomfort, and she has developed a keen interest in pain management in animals, particularly chronic debilitating conditions such as osteoarthritis and the care of geriatric animals.
Due to these positive experiences in treating animals with her acupuncture, hydrotherapy and therapeutic exercise programmes, Shelley has recently developed a keen interest in alternative medicines using herbal remedies and is a committee member of the British Association of Veterinary Herbalists. Shelley has undertaken further training in the use of Western Herbal Medicine and is the second veterinarian in the UK to have attained a postgraduate diploma in its use. Shelley works out of Foxcotte Vets in Andover.
