International Bestseller Maeve Haran and author of sweeping Cornish sagas Liz Fenwick will be in conversation with Judi Spiers, discussing their new books An Italian Holiday and The Returning Tide.

Biographies:
Maeve Haran is an Oxford Law graduate who worked in journalism and television before writing her first novel, Having It All, a worldwide bestseller translated into 26 languages, and turned into a miniseries in Korea! She has written 15 novels and Wendy Holden called her writing Warm, clever, wise and extremely funny. Her next witty and entertaining book promises sunshine, warmth and lemon blossom on An Italian Holiday.

Liz Fenwick is the award winning author of The Cornish House, A Cornish Affair, A Cornish Stranger, Under a Cornish Sky and a novella – A Cornish Christmas Carol. After ten international moves, she says she is a bit of a global nomad, but her heart remains in Cornwall. Her new book The Returning Tide came out in March 2017 and she is currently writing her next one.

Judi Spiers is one of the best known, and loved, faces and voices of the west country. Judi began her broadcasting career at Westward Television in 1977 which eventually became TSW. She then joined the BBC where her daytime magazine show Bazaar was shown on BBC1 and 2. This was followed by Daytime Live and the iconic Pebble Mill where she interviewed many of the worlds top stars. Judi was also a regular on many light entertainment and quiz shows on national TV. She has hosted radio shows on Radio 2 and Radio Devon, is a regular columnist for the Western Morning News and Herald and contributes to several magazines including Devonlife.
