TMP's U-Lab Hub
Theme of 'sustaining the change makers'
Join us to gain world-leading knowledge and access to networks that will accelerate social change as well as your professional development?
This amazing opportunity is FREE, based 'at your computer' and here at The Melting Pot for TMP Members and others registered with U-Lab Scotland - see how below.
Overview and context:
U Lab provides world-leading expertise on how to accelerate change based on 'Theory U' - a structured and emergent approach to change.
U Lab is a (Global) Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) run by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It commences 10th September 2015.
The MIT U Lab team, led by Otto Scharmer, believe in learning by doing – which means it’s not just about learning new concepts intellectually. Real learning happens through application and practice in the real world. By establishing local 'Hubs' it helps people connect around shared interests and whilst deepening the learning through real-world application of the U process.
At a global level - the various hubs around the world will be part of a network of place-based action learning environments that exchange insights, experiences, and knowledge about how to create a more aware and effective approach to leading change on the key issues of our time.
At a national level - over 350 people have now signed up for U Lab Scotland and will be participating in the Hubs that are emerging across the country. Hubs can be topic based or geographical in origin.
