Event description

Description

Greetings!

To be a pilgrim…a weekend conference open to all; Friday 6th – Sunday 8th April 2018.

Through worship, presentations, workshops, discussion and opportunities for pilgrimage in the area around Cliff College, we will explore together what pilgrimage has to offer to us as individuals and as Christian communities today.

We will ask: What might be distinctive about Methodist pilgrimage? Does pilgrimage have to involve a journey? Can pilgrimage be mission? How might pain and illness be seen as pilgrimage? …and much else besides.

The setting for the conference is Cliff College, Derbyshire, amidst beautiful countryside with many pilgrim routes close by. As well as opportunities to explore these, there will be plenty of sedentary pilgrimage activities too.
