Event description

Description

PLEASE NOTE THAT, DUE TO UCU STRIKE ACTION PLANNED FOR THIS DAY, WE ARE RESCHEDULING THIS EVENT TO ENSURE ITS FULL ACCESSIBILITY. A NEW DATE WILL BE CONFIRMED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Event Details

A networking lunch will be available between 12:00-12:45. The main event runs between 12:45-16:30.

About the Event

As the first of a new programme of good practice sharing events, Go Higher West Yorkshire is offering to colleagues across our partnership a limited number of places to join a unique event, showcasing the evolution of student success and improved outcomes for under-represented student groups.

This event will draw upon the innovation, learning and success resulting from numerous collaborative projects across our region. These projects are focused upon varying aspects of student success in Higher Education and are funded by HEFCE's Catalyst Fund. Key project staff at the Universities of Huddersfield, Leeds and Bradford will deliver interactive seminars to provoke further thinking and learning about these topics.

During the course of the afternoon participants will attend all three seminars, which are based upon the following Catalyst projects:

Purpose of the Event

Participants will receive up to date information about the innovations, developments and changes in practice that have evolved during the projects so far. Seminars will consider the most impactful and significant learning to date and potential implications for future practice, broadly speaking.

Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the transferability and scalability of what they learn and add their own insights and expertise in these areas.
