Event description
An interactive performance creating a digital record of our time: how do you want to be remembered?

About this Event

Uninvited Guests and Fuel present: To Those Born Later - a performance, discussion and interactive experience.

Imagine a future where all electronic records, digital photos, music playlists and personal messages are gone: our digital existence has been wiped.

How would we be remembered?

Uninvited Guests are travelling the country to create a digital record of today, a collection of things that matter to you, to keep in a time capsule that will be opened in 150 years.

  • What image of our world should the people of the future see?
  • What stories will they tell about these times we're living through?
  • What do you want to be remembered?

What do you want our legacy to be? Preserve something of you, your community and culture, for those who are yet to be born.

What to expect

To Those Born Later is an interactive performance. Every show is different, made with and for each audience. The content of the time capsule will be chosen by people in the room and added to the growing archive of messages to the future.

Doors will open at 7pm for sharing and photographing of objects (see below).

Event begins at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the event are free. If you would like to, and are able to, pay for your ticket, we recommend a contribution of £5, which can be paid on the day.

What to bring

Please bring a smartphone if you have one and make sure it's fully charged.

If you don't have a smartphone you'll still be able to participate. We can potentially provide tablets for you to use during the event: please indicate if you would like one when you book your ticket.

When you come to the performance feel free to bring along an object that means something to you, that you would like the people of the future to see. We will be taking photos of some of these objects.
