Join us for a pamphlet bookbinding workshop guided by the London Centre for Book Arts (LCBA), a pioneering artist-run studio in east London’s historic print district.
You will learn the traditional sewn pamphlet binding method, using linen thread and a variety of tinted and textured papers. You will create their own handcrafted pamphlets, complete with embossed and foil-blocked dust jackets designed to protect and showcase your work.
Established in 2012, LCBA provides open access to professional bookbinding, printing and publishing facilities, promoting artist-led publishing through education and community engagement. LCBA supports makers regardless of background or experience, fostering a collaborative environment for creative exploration in book arts.
