Toaster Teardown: Fixperience Workshop (Camden)

Want to learn some handy repair skills? Join us for our Toaster Teardown Fixperience Workshop, coming to Camden’s Fixing Factory! This workshop is a fun, hands-on way to jump into DIY repairs, cut down on waste, and keep a little extra cash in your pocket.

The workshop is designed for those with little to no prior experience, so don’t worry if you’re new to this.

Each session is small and friendly, with up to six people per workshop. So whether you come solo or with friends, you’re in for a relaxed, supportive environment. With one to two facilitators for each group, you’ll get plenty of one-on-one guidance as you learn the ropes.

About Toaster Teardown

At this workshop you will learn the basic foundations of fixing electrical items, with a focus on pop-up toasters. By the end of the session you will have learnt the basics of safety when working with electrical items, disassembled and reassembled a pop-up toaster, understood its basic operations, gained tips on maintaining electrical items and conducted a basic repair. This will help you learn how to repair domestic appliances.
