Together Against Antisemitism — National Solidarity Rally
Event Information
Event description
Description
This Sunday we return to Parliament Square to stand #TogetherAgainstAntisemitism.
The Jewish community has been shaken by antisemitism in public life and mounting hate crime. Many are saying that they feel isolated and hated. We have heard heartbreaking stories from Jews who are questioning their place in their own country.
Britain is better than this. Now is the time for us all to take a stand.
Whatever your religion, race or politics, this Sunday, 8th December, at 1:15pm, we will rally together in Parliament Square as Jews and non-Jews alike to say clearly and with one voice, that we stand #TogetherAgainstAntisemitism.
Show Britain’s Jews that you are with us and hear from amazing speakers, including:
- Robert Rinder, barrister and television personality
- Tracy Ann Oberman, actress
- Tom Holland, historian, biographer and broadcaster
- Trupti Patel, President of Hindu Forum of Britain
- Fiyaz Mughal, founder of Muslims Against Antisemitism
This rally is not political and no politicians will be speaking: it is about decency, which if nothing else is surely what this country stands for.
Please join us and help us to track numbers by registering to attend now on this page.
> You can start showing your solidarity with Britain’s Jews straight away by adding the #TogetherAgainstAntisemitism symbol to your Facebook or Twitter profile picture at TogetherAgainstAntisemitism.com.
> The rally is costing us a significant amount of money to organise. We need your help to pay for placards, a sound system, advertising and more. If everyone gives what they can, we will cover the costs, so please consider donating to help fund the rally through our crowdfunding page.
