Together Gloucester Gathering

We invite you to attend a gathering to explore how partnerships support the creation of a year-round programme for Gloucester. A different format to the July gathering. This will be an opportunity to connect, collaborate on shared themes and explore cultural projects for Gloucester. What will we be doing:

• Creative warm-ups & collective dreaming – we’ll start with activities to get to know each other, then imagine a year of cultural life in Gloucester, exploring what happens and what we’d love to see more of.

• Open space exploration & collaboration – through interactive group work and movement around the room, we’ll notice connections, spot gaps, and surface opportunities to collaborate, share resources, and co-create programming ideas.

• Sharing & next steps – together we’ll highlight key themes, hear practical updates (including Together Gloucester funding info), and wrap up with space for reflection, networking, and potential for future partnership working.

On the day:

Please arrive at 9.30 for registration and refreshment. We will be starting at 9.45am promptly and the gathering is facilitated by 64 Million Artists , so please allow time to find your seat.

We will provide refreshments and snacks. Feel free to bring your own if you would prefer. Please do bring a water bottle.

If you are not familiar with The Friendship Cafe this link (on the rooms to hire page) has pictures of the main hall, where you will be. There will be a quiet room to meet a journalist to share your stories and do an audio interview. If you do not want your photograph taken then please let the registration staff know on your arrival.

The venue is The Friendship Café, Chequersbridge Centre, Painswick Rd, Gloucester GL4 6PR

If you are coming by car, please car share where possible as it is a residential area and parking is limited at the Friendship Cafe. We advise not to park on the pavement right outside the main building as this is regularly attended by traffic wardens.
