‘Together We Create’ Exhibition Launch

The Millin Charity Launches the Together We Create Exhibition: A Display of Women’s Feelings, Thoughts and Experiences.

‘Together We Create’ was funded through the Mayor’s Opportunity Fund to bring women together to capture their experiences through art.

The groups had discussions around culture, identity, racism, discrimination as well as what make us both unique and alike and that which collectively brings us together. Throughout this programme, the women produced pieces of art sharing their stories of sisterhood, solidarity and hope with the wider community.

We invite you to our Local Exhibition for the opportunity to see the art, meet the artists involved and hear from some of the women who took part.

The Exhibition Launch Event will take place at the Bewick Hall located on Floor 2 of Newcastle City Library. Refreshments will be provided.

The Exhibition will be displayed in Newcastle City Library until Wednesday 5th November.
