We are delighted to welcome Luke Johnson who will give this year’s Tom Olsen Lecture on Thursday 3rd July at 7pm here at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street.
Our speaker, British entrepreneur, investor and writer, Luke Johnson, is a former chairman of the Pizza Express chain, the Royal Society of Arts and Channel 4 among other business and institutions.
The title for the Lecture is "Entrepreneurs: Our Last Best Hope – Is the UK still a great place to start a business?"
Among Johnson’s business maxims is that, consciously or not, successful companies follow the Japanese management philosophy (kaizen) of constant, incremental improvements, often driven from the bottom up.
There will be a chance to put your questions to our speaker after the lecture and the evening will conclude with a drinks reception for attendees at the back of the church.

Registration for the event is free, but we hope you might consider a suggested donation of £15 towards the upkeep and maintenance of this historic Grade I listed Wren church.
