Join award-winning comedian Tom Ward (as seen on Live at the Apollo, Roast Battle, Comedy Central, The Stand-Up Sketch Show) for a one-day comedy masterclass designed for acts who have at least 5 minutes of material and want to take their set to the next level.
This intensive workshop combines:
✅ Insights from Tom on writing, editing, and inspiration
✅ Icebreakers and exercises to spark new ideas
✅ A chance to perform 5-minute sets in front of the group
✅ Professional feedback from Tom and group discussion, delivered after each half of the performances
✅ Practical methods to hone material, delivery, and stagecraft
✅ Insights into stagecraft and the circuit

This format gives you the chance to not only perform your own material but also learn from the feedback given to others. Seeing how different approaches are received and workshopped side by side can spark ideas and highlight lessons you might not notice in your own set alone.
Format:
Morning: Writing, material development, and group exercises
Afternoon: Mini open mic showcase (two halves of 6 acts), with structured feedback after each half
Closing Q&A and final notes
