🎬 Film Retrospective & Talk with Tomás Welss

Join us for a special evening with acclaimed Chilean animator, visual artist, and professor Tomás Welss Barkan, whose award-winning films combine biting humor, bold color, and a critical vision of human nature. His work has been celebrated at major festivals worldwide, from Zagreb to Havana to Los Angeles.

This retrospective and conversation will explore Welss’s remarkable career — from his early shorts to internationally recognised works like Magic Dream . The talk will be moderated by Dr Stephen Morgan (King’s College London).

📍 Hosted in partnership with the Embassy of Chile in the UK and the Department of Film Studies at King’s College London, this event is a rare opportunity to experience Welss’s singular animated world on the big screen and hear directly from the artist himself.

✨ Don’t miss this celebration of Chilean animation!
