About this event
Join us for the Tomintoul250 Opening Hogmanay Celebration!
Why not join us on our opening event for the Anniversary year. Live music from Delavorar, so bring your dancing shoes!
We'll be hosting a Hogmanay celebration - we'll provide the venue and live music, you bring some nibbles and maybe a drink, and we'll enjoy the night before wrapping up just after ringing in the New Year.
Please remember this is a family event, and whilst we want everyone to have a good time, we'd ask people to be considerate and 'moderate' in their celebrations!
Date: December 31st
Time: 8:00 PM onwards
Venue: Richmond Memorial Hall, Tomintoul
Note: this is a limited capacity event, everyone will need to have booked a ticket - one ticket per each person in your party. If you don't have a ticket, we may not be able to admit you.The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask anyone being disruptive to leave. This is a family event, let's keep it fun for all.
Frequently asked questions
The tickets are free, but we'd ask that you consider making a donation. These will cover the costs of organising and running the event.
We need to manage a limited capacity, so everyone will need a ticket, even children. Anyone without a ticket may be refused entry. However you can book upto 5 tickets per contact
We can't guarantee there will be tickets available at the event, so we strongly recommend either ordering online, or picking them up at the Village Store
We have a limited capacity in the hall so we need to manage how many come along, which means that everyone including children will need a ticket.
It's easy to book and manage your tickets through Eventbrite, but there will be a number of printed tickets available in the Village Store on Tomintoul Square during normal opening hours.
The building has a step-free ramp to enable access to the hall, and an accessible toilet.
The organised won't be providing food or drinks, but feel free to bring your own.
We'd like to make it an annual event, but we can only do that if it's supported, so book early, come along on the night and enjoy yourself!
Feel free to contact us via info@tomintoul250.org.uk
If you're musical and want to 'do a turn', we'd definitely encourage you to come along and join in. If you could let us know in advance, via info@tomintoul250.org.uk, it'd be appreciated.
