Lauren Elkin is the author of Flâneuse: Women Walk the City (Chatto & Windus) as well as the upcoming No. 91/92: a diary of a year on the bus (September 2021, Semiotext(e)/Les Fugitives), and the translator of Simone de Beauvoir's recently re-discovered novel The Inseparables, out from Vintage Classics in September 2021.
