"Look after your tools and they will look after you…" isn't just a saying. It's one of the best bits of advice if you want gardening to be a pleasure and not just a chore. Every job can be more enjoyable and less arduous when our tools do what they are meant to do without jamming, sticking or otherwise complaining of neglect! In this workshop we'll be sharing our experience of sharpening and maintaining all the main types of garden hand tools, including saws, loppers, shears and secateurs; trowels, forks, spades, shovels, hoes and rake. Along with just about anything else we have in our tool shed that people want to ask about. Feel free to bring along your own tools to maintain or for advice.
