Workshop participants will explore a variety of multimedia authoring tools that can help enhance the digital experience in Blackboard.

In recent years, emerging multimedia authoring tools have become much easier to use, and can help enhance the interactive learning experience across a variety of devices. Lessons can be authored with a little training and support, and published easily on Blackboard. Students can learn on the go, and avail of interactive, engaging content that goes beyond the typical Blackboard experience. In this workshop, we&#x27;ll look at a variety of authoring tools, and how they might help you to improve the digital learning experience. By the end of the workshop, you&#x27;ll know how to produce such materials and where to go for more detailed advice and support.This is one of a series of workshops provided under the auspices of the IUA &#x27;Enhancing Digital Teaching &amp; Learning&#x27; initiative and in collaboration with the Erasmus+ CUTE project.Please note that this workshop is open to NUI Galway staff who teach or support teaching and learning.This event requires participants to bring your own device. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________This workshop will cover the following competencies outlined in the European Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu):Area 2: Digital Resources2.2 Creating and modifying digital resources2.3 Managing, protecting and sharing digital resourcesArea 3: Teaching and Learning31.
