Climb aboard for a rare, guided minibus tour of one of Britain’s largest active limestone quarries formed in the warm, tropical seas of the Carboniferous Period. Discover how this ancient rock is used and explore the techniques behind modern extraction and processing. Includes an introduction to Mendip geology and complimentary hot drinks.

Please wear appropriate clothing including trousers, long sleeved tops, and boots. Safety wear will be provided. Not suitable for children under 10. £15 per person. Places are limited. Maximum purchase per order is 1. You will need to make multiple bookings for groups of 2 or more people.
