Will there be a bar or can we bring our own alcohol?

Accepted Answer

The hall is fully licensed, so no alcohol purchased off-site may be consumed on the premises. However, our bar will be open from 7–11pm, offering a wide selection of drinks - so there will be no shortage of liquid merriment!

Question 2

Will you issue refunds if I can no longer make it?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately not, we have to pay for the band up front which is a significant cost so we can't afford to issue refunds. If you can no longer make it, please just see your ticket as a donation to the vital work of the volunteers at Torridon Mountain Rescue Team!

How many people can come?

We've set a limit of 150 tickets. With a month still to go until the dancing begins, we've sold over 95 tickets already - so there will definitely be a buzz in the hall!

Question 4

I'm struggling to find accommodation. Where can I stay?

Accepted Answer

If there's no accommodation available, we recommend camping (including vans) at the unmanned Torridon campsite. No need to book, this is one of the last free campsites left in Scotland, so please respect it and donate when there to keep it going! There are toilets, sinks and showers.

Question 5

I'm in a different mountain rescue team and don't have anywhere to sleep! Where can I stay?

Contact Torridon MRT and they might be able to provide you with a mattress at their base, just over the road. No guarantees but speak to them nicely and they might be able to help!
