Tortus Returns for London Design Week!
We’re thrilled to welcome @Tortus back to the studio this September in celebration of London Design Week.
Renowned for his elegant forms and masterful technique, Eric Landon (@Tortus) will be teaching both his Open Level Workshop and Intermediate Masterclass, sharing insights into his distinctive approach to wheel-thrown pottery.
As part of the event, Tortus will also be displaying a curated selection of his work in our Belgravia studio windows—not to be missed.
🗓 Workshop Dates:
• Wednesday 17th – Thursday 18th September
Intermediate level – for those with throwing experience
Eric Landon makes numerous vessel types giving a unique and comprehensive look at the unique approach and techniques he applies at the wheel to make his larger and more complicated vessels. The workshop will cover a series of more advanced larger scale vessels, including a moon jar, and focus on fine-tuning your hand and body movement to help center and manage larger amounts of clay with less effort. This workshop is not recommended for beginners.
The workshop is from 9.00-15.30 both days. There will be a lunch break in the middle of the day. The workshop includes materials. Firing of pieces are not included.
Cancellation policy:Cancellations more than 30 days before the start of the workshop can receive a 50% refund or postponement to a later workshop if available. No refund will be possible within 30 days of the start of the workshop.
