We'll also share updates from our artist development programme and ongoing community projects, as well as making a very exciting announcement...
TOSH Open House
Gather with our diverse community at TOSH to learn about our ongoing projects, and to celebrate all that happens here in our inclusive space - with drinks and snacks!
We'll also share upcoming artist development support with Open School Creative, offer updates from our ongoing community projects, share ways in which you can get involved, and reveal some very exciting news regarding new happenings here at TOSH!
Writing Workshops with The Outsiders Project
Sit down with Outsider artists Neil and Simon for a relaxed creative writing workshop, responding to prompts and exploring playful writing exercises.
Performance with Community Music Group, facilitated by Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra
Enjoy music performed by members of our weekly Community Music group, B.A.N.G. (Boscombe Awesome Noise Group), facilitated by Ed Lee and Sam Mason of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. B.A.N.G.'s performances are made up of original compositions and arrangements, developed through weekly collaborative community workshops here at TOSH.
'Unseen' Community Art Exhibition
Visit 'Unseen', curated by Millie Lake, the first show in our new exhibition programme. Enjoy drinks and snacks, while discovering diverse work by local artists - from painting and print, to mixed media, ceramics, and more.
With our ongoing commitment to platforming outsider art and overlooked voices here at TOSH, artists were invited to respond to the theme 'Unseen'.
The artists have explored their own experience of feeling unseen, visualised the stories of others - those whose lives, contributions or identities are often ignored - and highlighted the things that quietly slip under the radar in our daily lives.
Some of these works have never been shown or shared, until now.
Join us here in our beautiful heritage space to discover work, support local artists, and celebrate our creative community here in Boscombe.
