About this event

Setting Up the Central Bank of Black African Origin (CBOBAO) by Reparation Nation Limited

Reparation Nation Limited is proud to announce the establishment of the Central Bank of Black African Origin (CBOBAO), a monumental step towards achieving reparatory justice and empowerment for Black communities worldwide. Shareholders and stakeholders in the concept of Blackness are cordially invited to participate in this historic endeavor. Security measures are stringent, and all attendees must provide racial and ethnic identification for access.

Purpose and Structure

The CBOBAO is modeled after the Bank for International Settlements, reflecting a commitment to international standards and practices. Its primary objective is to process and distribute reparatory justice payments while offering relevant international banking services. The bank's operations will serve the objectives of the African Diaspora Equity and Justice Alliance (ADEJA), aligning with its mission to advance the well-being, unity, and historical reparatory justice for Black Africans and the diaspora.

Understanding ADEJA

ADEJA is dedicated to advancing the interests of Black communities through evidence-based claims and reparatory justice initiatives. It operates on a claim-by-claim basis, acknowledging the historical injustices faced by individuals classified as IC3 Black under UK government standards. ADEJA prioritizes holistic empowerment, cultural preservation, and collaboration with governmental and non-governmental entities to achieve its goals.

Bank for International Settlements

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is an international financial institution that serves as a bank for central banks. It facilitates cooperation among central banks and other monetary authorities, providing financial services and acting as a forum for policy discussion. The CBOBAO draws inspiration from the BIS model to ensure efficiency, transparency, and adherence to international banking standards.

Processing and Distributing Reparatory Justice

The CBOBAO will play a pivotal role in processing and distributing reparatory justice payments to eligible individuals and communities. Utilizing advanced banking infrastructure and expertise, the bank will meticulously verify evidence-based claims submitted by ADEJA and other affiliated entities. Payments will be disbursed according to predetermined criteria, including the degree of Black heritage, as outlined in ADEJA's reparation shares system.
