Touch a life, Impact a lifetime: Implications of Developmentally Supportive Care

Learning programme for neonatal health professionals in Scotland


The Scottish Neonatal Nurses' Group proudly presents the following CPD opportunity for all neonatal health professionals, supported by Scottish Government, the University of the West of Scotland and NHS Tayside.

Attendees can benefit from hearing from Mary Coughlin the internationally renowned expert in the field of trauma informed, age-appropriate developmentally supportive neonatal care as well as:

  • A full day study where you will learn effective, clinically relevant, evidence-based care strategies that can be immediately applied in the clinical setting

  • Support on how to be a change agent in the clinical setting

  • A unit practice audit tool to support implementation

  • Details of the Trauma Informed Critical Care (TICC) certification requirements

  • Access to a private facebook page for additional support

  • Access to an online course which expands on the information delivered on the workshop and helps prepare you for accreditation, should you wish to pursue this

  • Free entry to sit exam to become accredited in Trauma Informed Critical Caring
