Waltham Forest's annual family cycling event, Tour de Waltham Forest, is taking place on Sunday 28 September.
This year, you can choose from three fantastic cycling routes — all starting and finishing in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow. Whether you're a casual cyclist or looking for more of a challenge, there's a route for everyone:
• Bronze - a relaxed ride of approximately 9km
• Silver - a scenic route of around 16km
• Gold - a more adventurous tour of approximately 20km
All rides taking place in the morning will be self-guided (using signage and an online map) and all rides taking place in the afternoon will be supported by guides.
What else will be happening?
As well as exploring the borough on our three cycle routes, participants can enjoy a bite to eat from a food stall and take part in some some family-friendly entertainment and pedal powered activities.
The Dr Bike team will also be on hand to check over brakes, tyres and wheels ahead of the event for free. If your cycle requires a check over before the ride, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your booked start time.
How do I sign up to a ride?
Please select a time to take part in the ride of your choice on the ticket page. You will be able to book places for up to 10 people in your group - please book a place for all children within your group even if they will be riding in a cargo bike, trailer or child seat.
