Built in 1827 by H. E. Goodridge (the 36th elected fellow of RIBA) Beckford’s Tower is a key Bath landmark. Dr Amy Frost, will lead the tour and explain the Bath Preservation Trust’s holistic approach to the major conservation of the building and landscape. Including successful adaptation to combat the impacts of climate emergency and how consultation informed everything that led to the reinterpretation of a site originally built through the profits of the transatlantic slave trade.
