Free tour of the Radcliffe Science Library for CLSIG members, CILIP members, and guests. The RSL is the main science library of Oxford University and has holdings of around 1 million items. It covers subjects from biochemistry to zoology via engineering, forestry, medicine and more. The librarians also run innovative reader services projects including loaning iPads and hosting an Edible Book Festival (mostly cake!) for World Book Day. The tour will talk about the history of the library, show us round the spaces and collections, and wrap up with a demonstration of the library's 3D printer.
We will stop at the King's Arms after the tour for a drink and a little festive season networking.
