Join colleagues nationwide for one or two days of networking and inspiration at the UK’s principal touring and partnership exhibitions networking event.

3 May: Pre-Marketplace Tours, 11.00 - 12.00

Option 1: A tour of the Martin Parr Foundation by Louis Little that will include a short talk about highlights from the collection. There will also be a chance to see the exhibition 'Town to Town' by Niall McDiarmid which will be on show at the gallery.

Option 2: Alison Bevan, Director of the Royal West of England Academy will lead a short talk on the exhibition 'Sawdust and Sequins: The Art of the Circus' which celebrates 250 years of circus and will provide an overview of Bristol’s first art gallery, a space which seeks to bring together contemporary and historic works together in new contexts. This talk is followed by the opportunity for delegates to explore the exhibition at their leisure.

Places on each tour are be limited; registered delegates will be given the opportunity to book a place on either tour, via the links on their eventbrite ticket.

3 May: Pre-Marketplace Seminar and 5 Minute Share, M-Shed, 13.00 - 18.00

Seminar: The Why, What and When of Establishing Commercial and Private Sector Relationships to Support Touring

This year's seminar will explore how cultural organisations can form effective commercial and private sector relationships to maximise the opportunities for partnership when developing exhibitions. The seminar will present recent case studies, share learning and provide an opportunity to ask questions and network.

Confirmed speakers include Rachel Cockett, Director of Development at Birmingham Museums Trust, Stuart Tulloch, Programme Manager, Exhibitions and Events, firstsite, Jason White, Assistant Curator, The Civic, Emma Parker and Penny Harris, of Parker Harris and Art Consultant Rosie Jarvie, formally of Christie's. Jill Brown and Wendy Parry from the Arts Council will provide a funding update, and will touch on the new tax relief for exhibitions.

5 Minute Share

Our popular 5 Minute Share is an opportunity for delegates to present information about upcoming tours, loan or partnership projects, to ask for input or find partners; presentation slots are allocated to delegates on a first-come-first-served basis, after booking.

Evening Drinks Reception, Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, 18.30 - 20.00

Join us for an evening drinks reception at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. The evening will include an introduction to their exhibition 'Grayson Perry: The Vanity of Small Differences' and a chance to view this Hayward Touring show out of hours.

All delegates welcome.

4 May: Touring Exhibitions Group (TEG) Marketplace, 11.00 - 16.30

TEG’s annual Marketplace is a unique opportunity for organisations developing for supporting the development of touring and partnership exhibitions to network, discuss projects and exchange ideas.

Delegates can book a stand to distribute information about their opportunities and services, or circulate freely gather information and discuss collaborations.
