Event description
Come and explore our elegantly renovated building and learn about the fascinating people and events that shaped its revolutionary history!

About this Event

Newington Green Meeting House is now open to the public after extensive restorative build work. For the first time the building is open to the public with tours, developed and delivered by volunteers who can share with you the history, stories and people of the building and local area. Learn more about the building and its inhabitants' radical history, pioneering architecture and revolutionary ideas.

Tours are approximately 30 minutes long and then you are free to explore the space, exhibitions and audio guide yourselves. The building is fully wheelchair accessible. Please help us cater the tour towards your interest and needs of the group by answering all the questions when booking.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID 19), all tours will be socially distanced and tickets are limited to 5 per tour. Please contact amy@new-unity.org for larger tours from one household. Please bring a face covering as these will be mandatory – and please follow the guidelines in place throughout the building.

We hope you enjoy the tour!

Please note: unfortunately our lift is currently out of order, meaning that only the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. We are working hard to resolve this as soon as possible.

If you are a congregant or aware of the history but just want to see the restored building please email amy@new-unity.org
