Join one of our volunteers for a tour of The Folly, a stunning grade I listed house in the North Yorkshire market town of Settle, which is now home to the Museum of North Craven Life.
Explore the history and architecture of the building and some of its residents for around 45 to 50 minutes, with an opportunity to ask questions. While these tours are aimed at adults, children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Make time to take a look at the museum's exhibitions, as we'll be passing these by during the tour. Why not book a table and stay for lunch?
This event is free, but we hope you will make a donation during your visit to support our work.
Note: There are also tours of Settle on Thursday afternoons in the summer, bookable through Tourist Information, which you could add to your itinerary to make a full day out.
Access information: Tours involve climbing two flights of stairs with handrail, with a chair to take a pause at each halfway point. Attendees should expect to stand for the duration of the tour, but there are two chairs in each room for visitors to sit if needed.
