🎙️ About the Speakers:
Marinus Van IJzendoorn (The Netherlands) holds a Dr.Phil. (Ph.D.) at the Free University of Berlin/Max Planck Institute for Human Development and Education (West Germany) (1978; magna cum laude); Dr h.c., honorary doctorate University of Haifa (2008). He is an Honorary Professor at the Research Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology, Division on Psychology and Language Sciences, Faculty of Brain Sciences, UCL, University of London, London, UK. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He has contributed many high impact and leading studies on attachment across the life-span in various non-clinical and clinical populations and cultural groups, and has focused on determinants (the interplay between genes and environment) and biobehavioral consequences of attachment security and insecurity for current wellbeing of the children and for their future development.
