Event description

Description

Changes to the benefits system have affected many of Fife's households. The rollout of full service Universal Credit from December will affect many more.

This event will bring together a range of services and organisations across Fife’s public and voluntary sectors which support households facing financial difficulty - whether offering advice on entitlements, developing skills to help search for work, providing affordable credit options, or dealing with wider health issues and family needs.

The half-day session is a great opportunity to find out more about the services in place, and our plans for the future.

Hosted by Councillors David Alexander and David Ross, co-leaders of Fife Council, the event will include speakers from:

- Carnegie UK Trust

- Citizens Advice and Rights Fife

- Fife Voluntary Action

- Conduit Scotland

Display space is available in our market place area - please contact us to arrange.

Please also let us know of any accessibility or dietary requirements. A sandwich lunch will be provided.
