Description

The PSA Commission on Care has, over the past 12 months, explored the crisis in the delivery of care of older people, with a special focus on the impact of austerity on those delivering care and the costs to those engaged in this work. This event will launch Towards a New Deal for Care and Carers, the final report of the Commission.

The report findings will be discussed by an expert panel with the following confirmed speakers:

Caroline Abrahams, Director at Age UK
Barbara Keeley MP, former Shadow Minister for Care
Dr Dan Poulter MP, former Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health Services
Yvonne Roberts, Journalist at the Observer
Professor Shirin Rai, Commissioner, PSA Commission on Care

Coffee, tea and refreshments will be provided.

Please arrive promptly for an 11.30am start, allowing at least 20 minutes to proceed through security. Entrance is via the Black Rod's Garden Entrance.
