Join us for 'Towards a Person Centered Healthcare and Practice', a CauseHealth Conference on Philosophy, Person and Value in memory of Stephen Tyreman. More details about the speakers and a copy of the conference timetable can also be found at the CauseHealth website.

About this conference

This interdisciplinary one day CauseHealth conference aims to bring together philosophers, osteopaths and other clinicians to discuss some of Stephen Tyreman's contributions to the philosophical basis of manual therapy and primary care practice. The day will be focused around Stephen's thinking and publications and will involve a mixture of presentations and interactive discussion groups. Our aims are to review and celebrate Stephen's influences in osteopathic education and the wider healthcare environment, including exploring ways of working collaboratively to promote person-centred approaches in clinical practice.

Who is it suitable for?

The conference is open to osteopaths and other healthcare practitioners with an interest in healthcare related philosophy, and particularly in its value in manual therapy, practitioners with an interest in person centred care, philosophers with an interest in healthcare practice.
