About this event

The session is open to families who want to find out more about introducing solids with their little one. We will discuss the signs of readiness, safety concerns and recipe ideas. Near the end of the session there will also be the opportunity to taste some of the finger foods.

There will also be the opportunity to talk with our qualified Early Years professionals about development and wellbeing topics, ask questions and share any concerns or worries you have about your child or your own wellbeing.

What age range is this session for?

Ideally, we want to share the information with those near the start of their introducing solids journey so babies around 6 months to 1 year.

I want to bring a second adult with me when attending the session, can we still come?

Yes, but please purchase a further ticket for each adult that is attending. Each ticket is for 1 adult and up to 2 children.

Will there be food to taste?

At the end of the session, you can choose to try some of the finger food and snack ideas we have shared in the session.

What are the parking arrangements?

There is limited parent and child car parking spaces near the Forum. There is free parking available in the town and in the Tove Short Stay car park on Northampton Road (a short walk from the Forum).

Accessibility Information

Towcester Family Hub is situated within the Forum, which has access for wheelchair users, disabled parking spaces and a disabled toilet
