Your chance to have your say in Tower Hamlets Local infrastructure Fund spending consultation for 2021
About this event
Tower Hamlets is one of the fastest growing boroughs in the country. We know that every new development increases the pressure on things like your GP surgery or your school. It could also mean spaces like parks, roads and cycle paths feel busier than before. That’s why we require developers building in Tower Hamlets to contribute to the Local Infrastructure Fund (LIF), a pot of money that is used to pay for projects in the communities where development is taking place. We expect the fund to generate around £2.5 million between April 2021 and March 2022. We'd love to hear your ideas about how we could use the fund to help improve your area
For a 6-week period, starting Monday 8th November and ending on Monday 20th December 2021 you can take part by completing an online survey through the dedicated LIF consultation webpage at “Let’s talk Tower Hamlets” at: https://talk.towerhamlets.gov.uk/lif
Accompanying the LIF online survey we have set up 4 online Q&A sessions available to anyone with questions or needing support filling in the online LIF survey. To attend one of these sessions please register here first via Eventbrite.
