Tower Hamlets- LMC GP Forum
Tue 6 December 2016, 18:30 – 20:30 GMT
What could the future look like?
How do you see General Practice in Tower Hamlets in five years time?
Come to the GP Forum on Tuesday 6th December 6-8pm at the Education Centre in Mile End Hospital.
The NHS is under unprecedented strain both financially and with respect to workforce. The General Practice share of the NHS budget is decreasing at a time when the percentage of GDP spent on the NHS is going down year on year and the population of East London is rising rapidly. On this backdrop we are struggling to keep our heads above water.
How can we get the best for our patients in this time of famine?
How can we make General Practice in Tower Hamlets a sought after place to work?
How can we retain the excellent people who work here already?
What are we prepared to do differently to maximise our effectiveness and improve our work/life balance?
How do we make sure that we maintain the unique cohesiveness within Tower Hamlets and retain our mantra: "A threat to one is a threat to all"?
What are our red lines?
Please make every effort to send at least one member of your practice team. GPs, Practice Managers and Practice Nurses all welcome.
