Event description

Description

Until the 1960s, St Paul’s Cathedral was the tallest building in the City of London. The tallest today is over twice that height and may soon be eclipsed. The City’s skyline is constantly evolving; cheese, pickle and prawn are just some of the ingredients that make up this tour of the City’s tall buildings past, present and future.

The walk starts outside Liverpool Street Station on Bishopsgate and finishes at 20 Fenchurch Street, better known as the Walkie Talkie. From here it’s a short walk to Bank Station for onward travel but, before heading off, participants may wish to visit the Sky Garden with its fabulous views across London. Note this is an optional extra and not included as part of the tour. Entrance is free but needs to be booked in advance online.

Please check travel arrangements on the day at Transport for London's Journey Planner site.
