TRACC consultation and workshop

Monday 8th December 2025, 10:00am to 4:00pm – Venue: Ferens Art Gallery, Queen Victoria Square, Carr Lane, Hull HU1 3RA

Join the TRACC team in this one day long event for an opportunity to learn more about the project, discuss important issues affecting the environment and communities' resilience around the Humber. The day will be divided into the following two sessions. Please feel free to come and go at any time during the day.

Session one: Drop-in Consultation, 10:00am - 12:30pm

An open invitation for community members to raise important issues affecting people and nature in the wider area of the Humber Estuary from the city of Hull to Spurn Point and from Goole to Barton upon Humber.

Preliminary Agenda

10:00 – 11:00am – Introduction to TRACC aims and objectives

11:00 - 11:15am - Coffee break

11:15 – 12:30pm – Drop-in consultation to discuss with participants their ideas on the following questions/topics:

· What are the issues affecting people and nature around the Humber Estuary?

· What do we need for communities and nature? How can TRACC help us?

You are welcome to come, share your ideas and stay as long as you like.


12:30pm – 1:30pm – Lunch break

A light working lunch will be available for anyone who would like to stay over from the morning session or will arrive to participate in the afternoon session.


Session two: Participatory workshop, 1:30 - 4:00pm

1:30 – 4:00pm – Workshop to design an action plan for people and nature

Come along to contribute to the design of an action plan of activities to take place over the next two years. These activities will align with the TRACC project's planned activities and will be supported by the project.

2:00 - 3:00pm - Participatory discussion; pick up important issues to discuss

3:00 - 3:15pm - Coffee break

3:15 – 3:45pm – How TRACC can help? Plan activities

3:45 - 4:00pm - Next steps and wrapping up

4:00 - Meeting ends

The meeting will aim to build the foundations for an action plan that will be flexible and evolve over time. The focus will be on strengthening communities’ capacity to improve the welfare of people and nature in the area.
