About TRACC
TRACC is a UKRI-funded project aimed at building coastal resilience across the UK. We are focusing on four case studies, one in each country: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The English case study focuses on the Humber area. The goal of this project is to bring together people from diverse communities and organisations in each case study to explore resilience challenges—whether environmental, social, or economic—and collaboratively find solutions.
The first year of the project (September 2024 – August 2025) was dedicated to creating the theoretical foundations of the research. Starting this September, the project will actively engage with communities, organisations and individuals in the case studies to develop action plans for the next three years.
We are eager to collaborate with you to make a positive impact in the Humber area and your community.
Come along to our showcase event on 24 September to learn more about the exciting opportunities the project has to offer to the Humber region.
