The qualities and deterioration of tracing papers means that they can prove to be a challenge in any collection. Speakers from HES and other Scottish Institutions will describe the identification of different tracing papers and give personal accounts of working with and conserving these tricky objects. Delegates will also have the opportunity to view a display of drawings on transparent paper from the HES Archive, as well as have the chance to discuss any personal case studies with the group.
