Event description
Join Jaha for this session and learn how to meditate and relax with the help of sound!

About this event

My name is Jaha and I will be creating a space for you to come and receive a nourishing gong bath followed by a journaling and sharing circle around the energy of the Full Moon. Bring some warm clothes and join in!

Barter Items:

1. Open Heart

2. Open Ears

3. Open Mind

4. A notebook & pen

Barter items are small tokens of appreciation given by the people who attend the session to the host. You can choose one of them to bring with you! These don’t have to be elaborate, and are simply a way of saying thank you to the host for sharing their knowledge and time.

Trade School

Trade School is an alternative and fun way for the community to get involved in sharing skills and knowledge and learning from each other in an informal classroom. Everyone has a skill to share, even if they don’t know it. Be it juggling, origami, excel or haircutting, sharing and learning is a vital way of making people feel connected and creating opportunities for learning for everyone.

It starts with a member of the neighbourhood choosing a skill to share and hosting a Trade School session as an informal teacher. Each session will involve different people sharing different skills, and sharing other skills in return creates a reciprocal and inclusive exchange.

Trade School is a great way to boost confidence and build friendships.

Residents of all ages are welcome!

Organiser Every One Every Day

Organiser of Trade School | Journaling Through Sound | The Wilds

Every One Every Day builds on the ‘hands on’ projects that people have been creating over the last few years in their own neighbourhoods. These types of projects welcome people from all walks of life.

These projects include:

• Sharing skills, spaces and resources.
• Families working and playing more together.
• Batch cooking and community meals.
• Food growing and tree planting.
• Trading, making and repairing.

Every One Every Day is going to be in the borough for a long time - at least 5 years and hopefully longer, and we hope to support residents to develop lots of projects and businesses.
