Event description
The UK's sanctions framework is changing. Find out what you need to do before the end of the Transition Period on 31 December 2020.

About this event

As part of the changes to the UK's sanctions framework, existing EU sanctions regimes are being transitioned into UK law through regulations made under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018. EU sanctions will no longer apply in the UK from 11pm on 31 December 2020.

The UK Government has been running a programme on readiness for the end of the transition period. We are pleased to invite you to a webinar for the international trade sector hosted by HMG officials to help you understand how the new legislation and processes might affect your work, and what you will need to do to ensure compliance with regulations.

Speakers will include representatives from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Department for International Trade and other government departments. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions to help you prepare for the end of the transition period.

The webinar will be hosted on Microsoft Teams Live and we will be taking questions on the day through Sli.do.

By attending this event you confirm that you understand the webinar will be recorded.
