Join us on the 4th July 2018 at this event for trade unions and other partners to hear about the learning and skills opportunities of the new Devon and Somerset Career Learning Pilot.

The pilot in Devon and Somerset is one of five nationally. The pilots will be testing out ideas around attracting learners by offering subsidised courses at different levels and exploring approaches to outreach and engagement with potential learners. The pilots will also help inform the forthcoming National Retraining Scheme.

Union officers, union learning reps and trade unionists involved in the learning agenda are all invited to attend to hear about the pilot, the target areas within Devon and Somerset, the courses and subsidies (of between 25% and 100%) that may be available to your members and to share views and ideas to engage with this pilot. There will be presentations by the partners and providers involved in the pilot.
