Run by Phillip Konchar this full day course and 100 day first-steps package will lay the foundations you need to develop into a successful trader, trading your own capital on the financial markets. There will be skills and strategies you learn on this course that you will come back to and use for many years.

The objective of the course is to take beginners and develop them into confident traders, Phillip achieves by doing the following:

• He'll be showing you the tried and tested approach to trading he uses day in, day out;
• Within this framework, he'll teach you the step by step trading strategies he uses;
• You'll learn how to manage your money professionally, a vital skill even experienced traders often neglect;
• The focus is on the application of the techniques taught, you'll be able to leave the course and apply what you learn immediately;
• You'll also get guidance and support for one hundred days after the course, this includes unlimited access to our daily analysis broadcasts where we'll be discussing the strategies he'll show you, live as they develop in the markets.

In a nutshell, those completing the course will have the tools to start trading and the confidence to do it.

Start - 9am prompt

Lesson 1 - Getting Started. In the first lesson of the day we'll cover in detail what financial markets are, what we're trying to do as traders by interacting with them and the main parties we need to interact with.

You'll finish this lesson knowing where you might fit in the grand scheme of the markets.

Lesson 2 - Trading Terms. We'll explain the key terms you'll need to know, where they are used and how they relate to you. From take profit orders to stop losses, from leverage to margin, you'll have a clear understanding of the terms you need to know.

Short break 10.45-11.00

Lesson 3 - Market Analysis. Building on the first two lessons, you'll learn that all traders need to create their own edge and good, solid analysis is the best way to do this. We'll introduce the three types of analysis used by traders and go into why we need to use all three to create a sustainable edge.

The second part of the lesson will focus on fundamental analysis and we'll finish by showing you a trading strategy using the volatility economic news releases create.

Lunch Break 12.00-12.45

Lesson 4 - Technical Analysis and the Strategies it Creates. We will start to introduce you to a range of technical analysis techniques. We'll spend the bulk of the lesson showing you how to link the techniques through to an applicable strategy. We cover a lot in this lesson but rest assured after the course you'll be able to revisit the extensive theory elements online, via the videos in our Analyst Package (which is included in the course fee).

You'll finish this lesson with at least six actionable trading strategies.

Short Break 14.15-14.30

Lesson 5 - How Best to Use an Online Trading Platform. An online broker's platform is your portal to the financial markets.

You'll leave this lesson knowing how to set it up so you get the information you need and how to perform key functions.

Lesson 6 - Money and Risk Management. As a new trader implementing robust risk management techniques is crucial, it is unquestionably the most important skill you will perform for the first year of trading. We will show you a proven risk management framework to work to.

Short Break 15.30-15.45

Lesson 7 - Live Application. Our final lesson of the day is all about showing you how to apply what has been taught in a live environment. We'll go through a range of trading strategies and work with you to help you find real trading opportunities.

You'll finish the course confident in your new skills with a clear set of next steps.

Course finishes 17.00-17.30

To build your confidence further as you start trading we'll also provide a unique first-steps support package for your first 100 days of trading. This is there to enhance the day course and includes:

• Unlimited access to our daily broadcasts and analysis tools in our Trading Community platform. We strongly encourage you to come and join us regularly for the daily broadcasts, where you'll see the techniques taught during the course applied in real-time;
• Weekly analysis on trade setups. Phillip will provide analysis of market opportunities, linking it to the strategies shown during the day course so you can start to see how trade set-ups develop;
• Complimentary access to our online Beginning to Trade and Technical Trading courses, covering 106 topics, 33 tasks and 7 assignments. You can take the on-demand courses in full or just dip in and out as you choose to reinforce certain topics as they come up in the analysis and broadcasts; and
• Unlimited email support so you can ask any questions coming out of the course and subsequent study.

Apart from a positive attitude, there is only one prerequisite. The day has a lot of practical application - we will be using the Core Spreads CoreTrader online trading platform throughout the day to do this.

To get the most out of the day, we ask that students open a virtual (demo) or live account with Core Spreads on the CoreTrader platform. Please do this before the course.

Who is this course and package for? New traders looking for a structured start in trading.

Will I be able to trade after the course? Yes, we'll be showing you actionable strategies. More importantly, you will know how to do this in a controlled way. It must be stressed that this course is the start of your trading journey, it takes a long time and commitment building the experience needed to be a successful trader. It is our view that this course is the best way to start this journey.

What do I bring? A notepad and pen. We will provide the course slides with a section to make notes. All attendees will get use of a PC during the day but if you have your own laptop, and you intend on using that for your trading, please feel free to bring that.

Do I get a copy of the slides? Yes, we'll provide a paper copy of the slides used during the course with a space to make notes on. We kindly ask our students not to resell or circulate copies.

Can I use another broker's trading platform for the practicals? Yes but we can not take time out of a packed day to show you how to do what we are teaching in your chosen broker's platform. We will be using Core Spreads for the application parts of the day.

Are any refreshments provided on the day? We will provide a selection of soft drinks during the day, please can students bring their own food and snacks, alternatively these can be purchased on campus.

Are there any restrictions? Yes, you need to be at least 18 years old.

Can I cancel after I've booked? Yes, you can request a refund via Eventbrite up to 1 day before the course. If you do not attend and have not cancelled at least a day before we can not refund the course fee.
