Traditional Britain Seminars 2014 and evening social
Event Information
Description
On the 8th March the Traditional Britain Group will be hosting a half day event, titled 'Traditional Britain Seminars 2014' at a prestigious club in central London from 1pm until 6pm, followed by an evening social until late.
We are very excited about this great new feature in our annual calendar as it will be unlike any other conference you have attended before, political or otherwise.
The afternoon will consist of a number of themed discussion tracks, led by our invited 'track leaders' who will introduce the theme and lead the discussion. Unlike normal conferences this will be a great opportunity for individuals to discuss and debate key issues and themes in the alternative, traditionalist, conservative and radical political and cultural sphere.
We are aiming to have two to three tracks running an hour for the afternoon. Guests are free to wander between tracks if they feel the discussion or theme is not of interest to them, and are not obliged to attend any one track. Guests can sit quietly and listen to discussion - or contribute their thoughts, without judgement and free of politically correct constraints, to the group.
This format was tested on the evening of our Traditional Britain Conference back in October and was enjoyed greatly by all present. The relaxed and open structure allowed for exciting, informed and intriguing discussion in a friendly environment.
The afternoon will be of interest to a wide range of individuals concerned with politics, culture, religion and economics - including conservatives, traditionalists, libertarians, nationalists and radicals - and will be a good opportunity to learn, share and network.
After the Seminars we will head to a local venue for an evening social until late - a bar will be available.
If you would like to lead a discussion track please get in touch on info@traditionalbritain.org. Track leaders get a FREE ticket!
The social media hashtag for sharing photos and thoughts on Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere during the conference will be #traditionalbritain.

Track 10 - 'Establishment Betrayal' - Paul Weston, Liberty GB Leader
'I started writing articles about the left-wing destruction of traditional Britain in 2007, which led to my joining UKIP in 2010. I stood in the last General Election but resigned when it became apparent that UKIP would not confront the Islamic issue, which I consider to be the greatest threat to Britain since Nazism and communism. I joined the British Freedom Party in late 2011, but became disillusioned with the direction it was taking, over which I had little control. In 2013 I established Liberty GB with a small group of ex-British Freedom activists who shared my own political ideology – which is that for a political party to seriously compete in a general election it must appeal to Middle Britain, rather than just the core nationalist vote which the leftist mainstream media find so easy to vilify and smear. If we are to discuss taboo subjects such as mass immigration and Islam, it is imperative we do so from an elevated moral and ethical position impervious to leftist character assassination.'
Track 11 - 'Civil Liberty' - Dr Sean Gabb, Director of the Libertarian Alliance.
Dr Sean Gabb is a writer and broadcaster and academic. He is the author of around fifteen books, which include seven novels and three volumes of poetry. Robin is married with three children and has a wide ranging life experience, having been a soldier, factory worker and a teacher
